Swiftwick Pursuit Socks
These new Swiftwick Pursuit socks arrived just in time for the fall hiking season. The Pursuits ($22) come in three fall colors (including sunset stripes and colorful mountains), and have the same ol’ Pursuit sock design — made with merino wool, Olefin fibers, and lightweight or medium cushioning. Even better, you can rock the new Swiftwicks at its group hike event with #HikeUnited later this month.
Stealth Drankful Hydration Pack
The Stealth Drankful Pack ($169 MSRP) is maybe the sleekest hydration pack to grace Kickstarter. Its main differentiator from other packs is a low, horizontally oriented water bladder that reduces sloshing and bouncing. We’ve had the chance to wear this pack and found that its durable build and thoughtful design elements (like well-placed pockets and magnetic closures) make it a great choice for running and biking.
Princeton Tec Snap Solo
Princeton Tec is calling the Snap Solo headlamp its most versatile headlamp to date. The Snap Solo ($35) has a single-button interface with a 300-lumen main light attached to the headlamp via a magnet, making it removable. There’s a white light high or low spot and strobe (no red mode), and an impressive 155 hours of runtime. Plus, there’s a lock function to prevent the lamp from accidentally turning on.
Dynafit Free 97 and 107 Skis
Dynafit’s brand Free line is the successor to its Beast skis. The Free 97 and 107 skis focus on providing the best possible stability and strength-to-light-weight ratio, according to the brand. The Free skis have a 100% Poplar Wood core supported, Dynafit Carbon speed stringers, balanced flex, and a newly engineered tip and tail rocker. The 97 will come in 163, 170, 177, and 184 lengths, and the 107 in 173, 181, and 188 lengths.
Uland Gear
Uland Gear is a Texas-founded startup focused on outdoor workwear apparel. Its first product is a western-cut denim shirt with lots of functional features, like venting, tactical chest pockets, and non-curling permanent collar stays. The Pearl Snap Shirt ($69) is made with a lightweight, more breathable denim, and is available in sizes XS-XXL.
Stanley x Mossy Oak Collection
Stanley and Mossy Oak partnered up to create a drink flask collection “built for the field.” The Stanley x Mossy Oak Collection (from $25) includes a wide-mouth flask, 16-ounce travel mug, and insulated 1.5-quart bottle ($40) with an integrated cup cap. The Mossy Oak Pattern has elements of hardwoods and timber, but there’s a blaze orange and bottomland camo pattern to choose from as well.
Teva Revive ’94 Mid
Straight from the Archival Revival Collection, Teva has resurrected its ’94 Mid ($160) hiker sandal. This retro hiker has REPREVE recycled straps, a memory foam insole, a “Spider Rubber” outsole, a neoprene collar, and an LWG-sourced waterproof leather and recycled polyester. The retro elements? Waffle knit fabric and color-blocked woven straps. Available while supplies last.
LifeProof Eco-Friendly AirPods Case
Don’t lose your AirPods; protect and store them with this LifeProof AirPods-specific case. The Eco-Friendly Case ($30) is made with 75% recycled ocean plastic, has a cutout for charging light visibility, and comes with a quick-clip carabiner. And, it’s available in four colors. Knockaround’s newest frame style is the Pacific Palisades ($25) that offer a slightly retro, slightly modern look. The Palisades have FDA-approved impact-resistant, polarized lenses. They also offer UV400 protection and contoured frames. And they come in three new colors (the burnt orange is pictured here). The sunglasses measure 146 mm wide.
Suunto Core Alpha Stealth
Suunto just launched a tactical, survival, military-inspired wearable — the Suunto Core Alpha Stealth ($299). In addition to standard features like an altimeter, barometer, compass, and weather insights, the Core Stealth has a red light mode, night vision and goggle compatibility, and it was tested to military standards. Note: this watch is CR2032 battery-powered (not rechargeable).
Athletic Brewing Closer by the Mile IPA Beer
Athletic Brewing is all about the NA beers. And this one on limited release is for a good cause — a portion of sales is donated to the Pan-Mass Challenge. The Closer by the Mile IPA ($11/6-pack) was specifically brewed for the Pan-Mass Challenge, a bike festival and fundraiser for cancer research. The Challenge is this weekend, August 7-8. Learn more.
